Stretch target for 2025- 4 new countries.
On the list for 2025:
- Germany
- Iceland
- Austria

Visited Hardwick Hall near Chesterfield

I'd expected this to be part of a trip overseas, but instead it was hanging out of my bedroom window!
In A Coruña, Spain
To end of 2023- continued to overpay, by £50 per month.

That’s an additional £600, for a total of £6600 overpaid.

undefined

To end of 2022
Overpaid every monthly by £165, plus an extra £20 in December- total of extra £2k in 2022.

Total overpaid so far £6k!

Will continue to overpay in 2023, but have another financial target to hit.
E117 completed, distinction obtained- next step E119, so still at level 1 for the time being.
To end of 2021- monthly overpayments- £1912
Lump sum overpayments- £2000

Total: £3912 (will transfer £88 now, to make a nice round £4k!)
Final total for 2021- 80 books 😊
I may not have attended in person, but I visited the virtual Hay Festival during lockdown 2021.

Thoroughly enjoyable, and one I’ll come back to again.
Achieved and amended to read 75 books this year- currently ahead of target
Distinction gained for E235, but made the choice to return to level 1. Back to level 2 next year!
On 31/52 so far, with 7 months to go (apparently 10 books ahead of schedule). Tracking in Good Reads.
E235 completed, awaiting results.
Debating on going back to level 1 next year, to gain a couple of qualifications.
Initial goal was met- 21lb lost by end of 2020.
Currently on 37lb weight loss.
Standard payment went down £14pcm, so increased overpayment by £14pcm. Now overpaying £114 each month, from May 2021
Currently registered on E235, due to finish in May 2021.
Next module.... who knows?!!
Aim is to lose a total of 21lbs between Sept 6 and Dec 31.

Progress: 19/10- lost 8lb so far, 13lb to go
Started on June 15 2020, finish September 22.
50 x squats
50 x push-ups

Day 22: added 50 x ab reps
Day 37: added 50 x flutter kicks
I have 41 months to do this, so I’ll pay an extra £100pcm, which leaves an extra £900 to find.

Didn’t just attend, I helped to run it!
IWB in Oslo
Tidying up my list- will add another £60 to savings today
I did some work for myself over the last year or so, but have decided I need more structure around me, and that self-employment isn’t for me.
It’s a positive decision and I’ve learned a lot from the experience.

Score keeper for SW Finals- two games worth.
Penalty Tracker for ORD A vs Norfolk
It's definitely made me want to do some more NSOing
Another 3 x £130 paid in- takes me to £4750 overpaid, so only £250 to go until I reach the £5k mark.

Next month will be another £130, so I need to find £120 from somewhere.....
8/1/17 - £4360 overpaid, leaves £640 until I reach my £5k target
2 of 5- My Neighbour Totoro
I think I've managed every day in 2016 except for 1. Here's to keeping up the habit for future.
Lisbon for new year- that's Portugal added to the list

Country 4
Manchester event finally done

A brilliant social weekend at Ingestre Hall in Staffordshire.
What to book next....?
1 of 5 Withnail and I
Not sure on the exact figures, but an extra £130 a month for 9 months is another £1170. That takes me to £3970 overpaid.
5 of 5 and mission complete! Been a while since I added to this, but have now been back to The Lion at Wendlebury after their refurb. Great food, beautiful beer garden and a sharing dessert platter to die for!
August shop done
Line Up Tracker for a closed door ORD vs Windsor B
Florence, Rome and Pisa visited across a busy weekend, so that's 7 of 5 visited
Museum 5 was the National Museum in Copenhagen. We focused mainly on the Viking and pre-Viking history, whilst sheltering from the rain!

And Denmark do museums really well- free lockers and free locked coat racks for all the layers you reed to wear!
Copenhagen and Malmö visited, takes me to 4 of 5.
I'll definitely visit Copenahgen again; beautiful city, and would love to explore it when the weather's warmer.

Trip to Florence and Rome booked for next month, so should complete my 5 soon.
Denmark (well, Copenhagen) and Sweden (well, Malmö) visited, that's 3 of 3 done!

I didn't complete this challenge on my last list so I'm going to try and add another two countries before this challenge is complete
Trip to Denmark and Swedenbooked! Also, a possible Vatican City side trip, if that counts too....?

A moving tribute to those who lost their lives in WWII. A privilege to have been a part of the planting crew.

Our little group of volunteers, in the shadow of the Tower of London and London Bridge.
Realised I forgot to include my poppy planting hours!
In September 2014 I spent an afternoon planting ceramic poppies at the Tower of London as part of an art installation in memory of those who lost their lives in WWII.
Moving and inspiring.
5 hours volunteering, which takes me to a total of 35 hrs 35mins!
Treated to lunch at L'Autre Pied in Marylebone, London.
Beautiful food, with interesting twists.
Not one I'll rush back to- my wallet couldn't handle it!
Success for 2015. I'd got into a really bad habit of skipping breakfast before work, but I managed this pretty much every day in 2015, even if it was a pastry to go.
Now I need to work on not being late for work because I'm eating breakfast.....
Achieved for 2015. Really pleased I managed this every day (except those when I knew I had food arranged).
Las Vegas and Reykjavik visited- complete opposite ends of the spectrum!
So that's 2 of 5.
Where to for my other 3.....
Started in August with talk downloaded for my train journey to the Edinburgh Festival.
Talks watched August to December so far.
Remortgaged to lower interest rate, but kept the payments the same.
Now overpaying by about £130 a month.

All that plus a recent small lump sum, takes me to an extra £900 in, so a total of £2800 extra paid off so far.
Iceland visited
1 of 3 completed, now I need to plan in two more....
Stopped doing this for a while, but May was done and a December shop too.
Bit of a gap....
2 and 3 were in Vegas. Very different- The Neon Museum was a collection of hotel and casino signs, outside in the blazing sun.
The Mob Museum showed the darker side of Vegas, and American, life.

4 was more traditional- Visited Tate Britain
New list, new target of 35 hours.

At Rollercon this year, I volunteered a total of 30 hours 35 mins including building and dismantling a banked track, prepping flat tracks, checking ID badges, collecting donations and selling raffle tickets.
I met some truly awesome people too
A lovely afternoon turned into an extremely soggy one!
So, after sitting under an umbrella trying to stay dry, and failing, I embraced the squelchy boots and started jumping!!
Not just under the stars, but also off the edge of a cliff. Flippin' cold in the middle of the night, even with lots of layers.

Morning world!

Cliff camping off the side of North Wales
1 of 5
Berlin Mauer Museum.
Not your typical museum, as it's all outdoors. Fascinating perspective on the Berlin Wall and what life would have been like.
So much fun, can't wait to go back and have another go.
Just done a quick tot up and I'm surprised at well I've done since this list began in August.
I think I'm at £3650 in one account, plus roughly £500 in another, so a total of £4150 so far.
Starting balances have made it hard to check exactly, but I've done some tidying up so I can track better.
28/05- Approx £1900 extra paid off
Accommodation booked! Can't wait to go back this summer
I'm Flowboarding on Saturday with East Midlands
That's another group ticked off the list. Quite pleased as it was purely accidental that this is East Mids.
Didn't think this one would happen since my team change, but I won an award for MVP Blocker, on my debut for my team, for our game against Rennes.
I'm convinced they mixed up with someone else!

White spirit does not taste particularly great, but here I am, channeling my inner dragon

I did it!!!

I couldn't have completed this without my team around me. I sprained my ankle 6 weeks ago, so running a 5k challenge race through mud, rivers and over trees and hay bales was always going to be tough! Thanks to some brilliant team work, and skipping a couple of obstacles with uncertain landings, I made it through in one piece.
4 of 5 Pudding Face at the Crown and Tuns in Deddington. Pie, pie and more pie- yum!!! So good I've been back again already.
Iceland booked for November 2015.
Country 1 of 3 for the 101 list part 2.
Sprained ankle stopped supermarket visits for the rest of March, but donation made for early April, and I still owe the food bank a shop.
Flights booked for November
Bigger donation made at the start of March as I missed Feb, but I'll donate again at the end of March too.
Benchmark set, 28 in 5 on 15/2/15, not at full fitness
From never having skated co-ed to an open door bout an a mini-tournament in one weekend.
Done
January donation made
Currently paying an additional £80 a month, which will take me about half way there.
Another blast through, more chucked and more filed. Half a box left to go!
Trip to Las Vegas booked
Plan to visit while I'm in Vegas in July
Flights booked
Flights booked!
Penalty Wrangler for OWG Rookie scrim
Penalty Box Timer for closed door Grid City vs Team Dragon
Booked to run the Gladiator Gauntlet Games in April

3 of 5- The Abingdon Arms, Beckley. Mostly lovely, but some bizarre service and an inedible dessert spoiled things a little.
Pass from 2014 deferred to 2015. Fingers crossed I'll make it this time!
Another house move, and a bit more stuff sorted out. Actually got rid of this lot as well. More to go!
2 of 5- Butchers Arms. Nice food, but atmosphere was a bit odd.
Zip line and Bounce Below done with Spice West Midlands

Still to go- London, Yorkshire, East Midlands, Manchester (and possibly UK).
This is basically an excuse to eat out more!

Tried Atomic Burger at the weekend. Yum!!
Zorb football with Thames Valley done
