I'm doing this in my smugmug Wynnipeg albums.
I'm counting this as done, because I joined a photography group, which is very much a learning experience and probably even moreso than a class! But I still may take a photography class in the future.

Always bring my own cup & straw to Starbucks. I am really making an effort to be diligent with this and would say I've reached the point where I automatically get my cup & straw before heading out to Starbucks so I'm marking this as done!

I've actually done this! After swearing off Facebook years ago, I trialed Instagram and I actually really like Instagram. It's kinder, friendlier, positive, interesting and isn't compulsively addictive. It's helping me keep in touch with friends and doesn't leave me feeling horribly insecure and irritated like other social media platforms. I'm going to stick with Instagram for a while.

I guess this is done because I now do have a tattoo on my upper leg, but it's awful and I hate it! It was a badly designed tattoo that wasn't anything like I wanted, I should have said no but went along with it. Lesson learned, tattoo will be covered after an upcoming consultation with Brass and Bones.
So I kind of feel like I haven't started on my leg tattoos because the permanent ones aren't on there yet, but I'm putting this in the done column since it is technically done.

Note added to goal Get a railing planter for my balcony and fill it with flowers
I made a set of two fancy railing planters that fit 16 pots in total. I've got several different heat-tolerant flowers in there including: portulaca (rose moss), verbena, bacopa, lantana, gaura, marigolds, phlox, bidens, and another which I think is mexican heather but not quite sure. They're all doing quite well even with the direct sun and the very hot weather we've had. I'm also growing lavendar in a pot on my balcony.

I got InDesign in July and have done some learning on it a few times here and there. Right now (November) I'm working on a fairly big registration package using InDesign and have figured out how to import Pantone Spring 2018 colours, and fiddle with lots of other regular functions that seem easy but I don't know in this totally new program. I think when I finish this package I can say I've learned InDesign even though I will keep learning after that.

Birthday seaweed wrap. Wonderful.
I went for a run in Florence, Italy! Although I've run plenty of times in Korea when I lived there, I found it actually kind of intimidating to go for a run in a foreign country when I was only spending a short time there, but my hotel was in a pretty good area to reach a good running spot in Florence and I saw a fair number of runners once I reached the park. In a new city, especially an old or more winding-road city, it's easy to get lost on a run (it's easy enough to make a wrong turn in your own city), so in addition to bringing a route map (which I did), it's a good idea to plan a route that's significantly shorter than you could go that day (distance-wise and time-wise), I planned a 4-mile run and ended up going 7 miles!
I went to Villa D'Este in Tivoli, Italy, which is an incredibly amazing garden with thousands of fountains, although it's not technically a botanical garden. I did go to the Museo Orto Botanico in Rome (Trastevere), which is definitely a botanical garden.

I almost gave up on this goal after #3, I thought maybe this is just not working for me, but I decided to try one more time, and I don't know if it settled in or if Invisibilia was particularly good, but maybe it's important to try things enough times before giving up, because I rather enjoyed my last two podcast-runs.
