I returned my book to the library where I left a note for someone.

We actually did 100 notes as a challenge at church for how to impact the world. We left 100s of post it notes in books at mckays!!!!

My graduating second-grade students in my ESL class asked for different series of books and I wrote notes for each of the students in their books.

I stopped by Barnes and Noble on my way to work today and left an inspirational note in this book.

Placing the note in the book without anyone noticing was the challenge. Hopefully someone finds it.

Dear Beautiful Random Stranger,

You know you are beautiful don't ya? .. If you have any doubts just look inside your heart, think of something beautiful like a butterfly fluttering through the air landing on the prettiest flower .. smile .. your smile lights up your face .. look at the beautiful stranger in front, behind, opposite, beside you .. let them feel your smile and they will smile too .. now they are thinking a beautiful thought .. maybe they are having a bad day, they are tired from the stress of school, their job or from life itself, your smile has just given them a little lift to their day and taken their weary thoughts away to another place just for a moment but its a beautiful moment .. you did that .. see how beautiful you are!



Decorated with smiley faces, flowers and butterflies .. I left the note in an autobiographical book about a psychic I have never heard of and never read, it came through my door one day, I didn't buy it or ask for it so I decided to pay it forward and left it on my local bus.

A simple quick positive message put out into the world, roughly once a week. (No playing catch up.)

Placed inside One Million Lovely Letters by Jodi Ann Bickley (Library book from Taunton Library, Somerset, England).

It lies in a Library in Perth, in the philosophy section, but it'll be a while before its found I reckon.

At the library in a Dutch self help book.

I put the inspirational note in one of these books. I hope it blesses the person who finds it.

I did this when I studied for my concept paper in the library and quietly slipped the note so the librarian or the students can see it obviously. :D

I have placed the note in the book, and walked away leaving it to be found on a library shelf. It is fun imagining the smiling surprise on the stranger's face when they come across it. It is the little, happy surprises that make a day special.

I put it in my favorite book - Styxx by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

Wrote in a book and dropped it off at Goodwill. Hoping it proves helpful to whoever finds it.

I left it in a note-pad in the DSW of the Destination USA Mall in Syracuse, New York.

I left a note in a book before bringing it back to the library :)

Just so happens I ended up with a Titletrader request, so I slipped a note in the middle of the book telling the person they were awesome and that their hair looked great.

Life is like a book, it will always have a beginning and an end, but it is up to you to revel in those happy moments, smell the roses and I know it sounds cheesy but live, laugh and love. seize every moment and I know that big fight with your rents may seem like the end of the world but think in 5 years will you even recall what the fight was about, who started and so on?

I have left notes inside people's books but I don't think they can be considered inspirational... haha

I combined this with the write a love letter prompt and made a The World Needs More Love Letters glamourbomb and stuck it in a book at the library. I'm not sure how often the book gets checked out, but I figured if someone did read it it was a fitting book to stick it in. :)

Some of the books for my "get 20 recommendations and read them all" challenge I get from the library. This is a golden opportunity to leave inspirational notes for strangers, wouldn't you say? Instead of a note I leave a hand made bookmark with a quote about reading (the challenge doesn't say what I should inspire people to do, so I try to inspire them to read and live).
