I'm a woman nearing my thirties and still discovering who I am. As a child, I was under the influence of narcissistic parents who were very critical of what I did and what I showed interest in. This lead me to becoming afraid of trying new things without their approval- even after a decade of living on my own. So, I decided that I want to get to know myself without the pressure of pleasing anyone. My overarching goal is to discover who I am by doing things only for the joy of doing them.
